Description
DA 35 EFI MIL SPEC UAV Engine by HFE International comes complete with state of the art electronic fuel injection. This mil spec version provides a fuel injection system currently in service on over 700 aircraft and more than 67,000 flight hours in various environments around the world.
The system is tested to 20,000 ft altitude and temperatures ranging from -10°F to 120°F.
This system followed the test methods under MIL-STD-810, testing out the majority of the laboratory methods available.
Alternator System Options
Choose from the following alternator options, below. Custom options are also available upon request.
200W Power Management Unit
This 3 phase brushless alternator direct drives on the engine crankshaft. The stator mounts to the crankshaft casing. The rotor spins on the crankshaft.
The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range: 12 – 15 VDC at 15A or 200W max and 4.8 – 7 VDC at 7A or 42W max.
Configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LifePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and Lead Acid Battery.

400W Starter Alternator
This 3 phase brushless alternator direct drives on the engine crankshaft. The stator mounts to the crankshaft casing. The rotor spins on the crankshaft.
The system can be paired with a 500 W Power Management Unit with an integrated starter controller, allowing the engine to start remotely. The PMU provides three lines with a chosen voltage in the range:
24 – 28 VDC at 12.5A or 350W max, 12 – 15 VDC at 9A or 108W, and 4.8 – 8 VDC at 8A or 42W.
Configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LifePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and Lead Acid Battery.
