The 250W Power Management Unit (PMU) provides on-board electrical power generation, battery management and power distribution for small to medium-sized UAVs.

If you have an alternator on your gas engine, connect it to this PMU for stable DC power and to keep the battery charged. If your alternator is not producing power, this unit supplies the aircraft with power from the connected battery.
