<p><span style="color: #000000;">If you have an alternator on your gas engine, connect it to this PMU for stable DC power and to keep the battery charged. If your alternator is not producing power, this unit supplies the aircraft with power from the connected battery.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The fuel pump provides regulated fuel pressure to the engine.  The pump operates on 12 V and receives its power from the engine control module.  The pump only runs when fuel pressure is low in order to conserve electrical power and reduce heat and vibration in the system.  There is one fuel input and one fuel output, with a bleeder valve to prime the engine when installing.</p>
